This is a small Bluetooth GPS receiver that I bought Mobile Fun Ltd, I bought this to connect to my O2 XDA PDA second and costs around 40 pounds. Initially, I was searching on Google for cheap GPS receivers, which came as the cheapest. I thought at that price, will be a catch, and fishing are generally poor performance, but I was pleasantly surprised! This thing is really working, and works well!
After getting the first reviews of this unit, Icomes with very little other than opinions of Mobile Fun Ltd, there could be trusted for fear of their more affluent. I thought for £ 40 I take a chance and purchased, all claims of Mobile Fun the receiver arrived the following morning. When you open the box I was a bit 'disappointed there were throughout the instructions is a small piece of paper that HAD been loosely translated from Japanese into English by a dyslexic child. You can use the usermanual from here and the TomTom LINK manual here. After following these instructions, you configure it in no time. Another thing that struck me was that no Manufaturer name or marks anywhere on the device or the packaging, which makes it very difficult to find help.
A touch of class to this little device is that it comes with a battery that is common to many Nokia phones (3.7V 850mAh Li-polymer battery BL-5C), a quick search on eBay you can affordreplacement batteries for these receivers for about 4 pounds, it is good to know that you need.

Installation
Provided you have limited instructions to connect the device and installation instructions for TomTom is operational in less than 5 minutes. I accusedreceiver once since I bought two months ago, the battery seems never to end! The car charger and USB cable means that the receiver can be ordered to move from a 12V power source and can also be uploaded from any PC or laptop. Cold start the GPS receiver reaches a usable signal exremely quickly, quicker than the most expensive GPS receivers that I have come in contact. The device is very small and easily adapts to any spaceyour car or pocket even if you use it for walking or cycling.
A small problem I have is that when I use my XDA second TomTom software often freeze and make me stop the car, my phone restarts and then continue my journey. At first I thought it was because of the XDA loses its connection with the Bluetooth receiver and thus confirm my fears about the price of this product. And 'soon became clear that this was not the case and it was aproblem with my PDA and TomTom software.
I quickly found a solution to this problem between the TomTom and my XDA that the whole system works smoothly. I write a "how" of this solution just as I'm sure many other XDA second to inform users have the same problem.
I know there is a known problem when using a Bluetooth GPS receiver with the O2 XDA 2 (note not XDA 2i) because of the settings that came with your Bluetooth phoneHave you experienced this before purchasing this product if you are sure that there were problems.
